The Jewish Federation of Greater Houston had one goal: create a modern website to allow community members and partner organizations alike to quickly and easily find exactly what they were looking for.

We interviewed members of the organization and community to understand their pain points and wishes for the future of the Federation, as well as the Federation’s impact. It was important to remain culturally sensitive with imagery, so illustration became a great visual solution. The illustrations and icons used throughout brought life and energy to the design. Paired with a soft, colorful palette and friendly sans serif type, the fresh, accessible design style speaks to the Federation community while also embracing Jewish heritage.
